We know a lot of companies say this, but here at Brighter Vision we think our customers are the greatest. Since the Brighter Vision process is designed to be so customized and personal to you and your vision, we get to know our customers pretty darn well – so we figured it’s only fair we return the favor!
Introducing Behind the Vision, where you can get to know a Brighter Vision employee a little better and get an inside peek at the team helping you grow your practice.
This month, I sat down with Kirsten, a Lead Developer and one of several expert female web developers you could be paired with during our one-on-one website building process. (Refreshing fact! Did you know that over half the development staff at Brighter Vision is female?) If you’ve been lucky enough to work with her as your developer, you know her web design and customer service skills are the bee’s knees. 🙂
How long have you been working at Brighter Vision?
I’ve been with Brighter Vision just under a year now. I started with the company last June.
What’s your role here at Brighter Vision? / How do you spend your day?
I am a Lead Developer at Brighter Vision. My days consist of:
– Making each website pixel perfect by advising clients on custom design and branding for their website
– Providing client support as well as general troubleshooting via email and phone calls
Can you tell us about one of your favorite / most memorable Brighter Vision clients?
One of my favorite clients to work with was Blair Skinner, who is also a local to us in Colorado! Her practice focuses on early childhood development. It was fantastic to be able to bring her vision for the website to life.

What’s one of your favorite Brighter Vision websites right now?
Right now, one of my favorite BV websites is Riley Wellness Group, which was built on our latest theme, Nashville.

What are your hopes for Brighter Vision in the future?
My hopes would be that we continue to encourage and support women in the technology field. We could do this by offering internships to female college students studying the STEM field or with a mentorship program for women beginning their careers in IT and looking for an opportunity to learn. By helping to creating a diverse environment, we encourage our co-workers to learn from each other and make progress as a team.
If you could give Brighter Vision therapists one tip about how to best use their Brighter Vision website and marketing tools, what would it be?
My tip would be to use social media to create constant engagement on their websites and to create a strong internet presence.
If you could suggest one of our blog posts to read TODAY, which would it be?
If Brighter Vision had an animal mascot, what would it be?
A corgi <3
I must say, you have impeccable taste in mascots, Kirsten.
Thanks so much to Kirsten for spending the time with us today and telling us what she loves about being a part of the Brighter Vision family and her own vision for the future!
