Our Values
Perry here, the founder of Brighter Vision.
I initially began writing out our values as a way to empower our team. We are far past the point of me needing to be consulted on every decision. I want our team to feel empowered to make decisions on their own in a way that’s in the best interests of our clients and Brighter Vision.
We have a system and process for almost everything we do at Brighter Vision, but there cannot be a specific process in place for critical thinking. BUT, there can be a Manifesto of sorts to reference and help guide in the decision making process.
After writing our point about Transparency, I realized that it would be helpful to publish this, front and center, for our past, present and future clients to reference.
OK. Without further ado…
Brighter Vision’s Manifesto on Company Values
Focus on the user – both today’s and tomorrow’s.
Brighter Vision makes customers happier and more productive in their businesses by allowing them to know they have a beautiful website and a team supporting them every step of the way. And every part of the Brighter Vision experience should be focused on helping the user as much as possible. We love our customers, and want them to love us too.
Provide Phenomenal Support, every step of the way
We pride ourselves on providing attentive, helpful and prompt support.
No Tech Talk. Ever.
We have educational conversations with our clients and always strive to communicate in a clear, easy to digest manner. We don’t speak tech talk to you.
We Are on the Same Team as Our Clients
No matter what, we are always on the same team as our clients. We view every client as a member of our Family and are always working toward the same end goal: To help support your practice online.
Take ownership.
Nothing here is “somebody else’s problem” — while we respect each other’s expertise and responsibilities, everyone is empowered to do the right thing for our product, company, and customers.
Ready to take your practice to the next level?
Transparency inside and out.
Honesty is the best policy, whether we’re talking to partners, customers, or each other. We can’t fix what’s broken if we don’t talk about it, or hear about it from the people it affects.
Be excellent with each other.
We do whatever we can to make Brighter Vision a great place to do great work, as a colleague, mentor, or friend. We appreciate and recognize the work that people do and the things they accomplish. We respect each other’s time, effort, and ideas.
Do the right thing.
The shortest distance between two points is a straight line — we look for practical solutions to everyday challenges. Have a question? Ask it. See a problem? Fix it! Whenever we’re in doubt, use common sense, and do what’s best for the user.
