RE: BetterHelp Partnership — We value your feedback!
When Brighter Vision was approached by BetterHelp a little over a month ago about a partnership, we thought it would bring value to a particular section of our client base – those who are starting out and want to ease their way into private practice without the overhead startup costs associated with opening a new practice. However, after the feedback we have received from our valued clients, affiliates, and partners we realize that continuing this partnership would violate our core belief to put our customers first.
With that said, we have decided to terminate our partnership with BetterHelp and have given them notice as of 6/15/21.
Again, please know that we had nothing but good intentions behind this partnership. Our goal was simply to provide value to therapists that were just starting out by offering them 6 months of Brighter Vision website service free by signing up for BetterHelp.
For those therapists that did raise their hand to participate before 6/15/21, we will honor the original offer from our own pocket.
We own that we missed something along the way when forming this partnership. To help us identify potential concerns in the future, we will be forming a Brighter Vision Customer Advisory Board.
Thank you for taking time out of your day to help us better understand this matter, and we sincerely apologize for the frustrations that this partnership announcement caused our therapy community.
We look forward to continuing to serve our customers with phenomenal support and web services that help therapists grow their own private practices.
Sincerely,
The Brighter Vision Team

I’m pleased that you made the decision to back out of the BetterHelp partnership … that truly does seem like the right business thing to do. …and by the way – you still have the ad about joining BH above this Comment field…oops!
As I often tell my clients…we are striving for excellence, not perfection.
We’ll get there!

I am so impressed that you discontinued your partnership with Better Help.
I will now think about looking into your organization in the future since you have made this wise decision.

I am happily surprised that you not only made the correct decision after listening to your clientele, but that you admitted you made a faux pas. Many company’s would not have done that. However, in the future, I would strongly suggest that you take more time and look at the business environment prior to making any business changing decisions. YOU ULTIMATELY MADE THE RIGHT DECISION.
Thank you,
